Brooks was an educator and college President. Early in life he was inspired to pursue his education and took every opportunity to do just that. He graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity in 1950 from the University of London. In the 1970's he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Holmes Bible College.
